Migrating to Daily from other video APIs
Guides in this section provide material about migrating your existing application from other WebRTC APIs to Daily through two methods:
- Full transitions, which cover migrating your application entirely from using your existing vendor's APIs to Daily. The transition guides provide frameworks for your app to use all of Daily's capabilities.
- Drop-in replacements, which we call shims. Shims facilitate switching an existing application to use Daily's infrastructure while retaining the in-app code flows of the existing vendor.
